The non-toxic ingredient in Traveler's Friend protects you with each use. However, it is not necessary to use more than 30 drops in a 24 hour period. We hope you use Traveler's Friend to its full potential. Although its ingredients cause it to have a bitter taste, most people who use Traveler's Friend have come to regard the flavor as medicinal. As an added benefit, rinse fruit and vegetables in the treated water. Use this chart as a basic guide for using Traveler's Friend.

*Allow treated water to stand for at least 10 minutes.

Useful Travel Tips:

  1. Beware of ice cubes; pathogens can survive after freezing.
  2. Don't open your mouth in the shower.
  3. Brush your teeth only with water treated with Traveler's Friend.
  4. While eating fresh fruits and vegetables, drink water treated with Traveler's Friend.

CAUTION: Do not put in eyes. Do not use full strength in mouth, ears, nose, or on skin.
