Food Matrix Formed (an advanced food-bound nutrient system) Meta-C is fully reacted with phytoplankton (fresh water algae) to have all the properties found in concentrated whole foods including protein, lipids, glycoproteins, lipoproteins, nucleoproteins (RNA/DNA), complex carbohydrates, phytopigments, flavonoids, fatty acids, enzymes, co-enzymes, trace elements, and fiber. Food Matrix Formed Meta-C is processed at low temperatures resulting in higher solubility and an alkaline pH similar to blood.  This unique process conjugates vitamin C with natural biologically active metabolites in a buffered form as an ascorbate of calcium without caramelization/browning (due to excessive heating).
